2013 was the sixth year we have hosted the MEGAWALK and it was an absolutely brillinat day with 1034 participants taking part with 183 taking on the 28km MEGA, 467 in the 15km HB Today Half MEGA, 304 6.5km MoreFM Short MEGA and 80 in the MEGA Meander.

The event would not be possible without the partnership with CanTeen who put in a huge amount of work in helping us to the organise of the event. HB Today and MoreFM are vital in getting the word out in the community. And many local businesses who provide goods, services and sponsorship so we can put the event together as cheaply as possible and maximise the funds going to CanTeen. We also have many volunteers who give up their valuable time on the day keeping everyone safe and hydrated along the way. So to the many many people involved in this event

If you participated in the Hogs Breath Challenge check your time here

This is a social event designed to get people out for a walk along the Rotary Pathway, there will be prizes for each man and woman who comes first and second in The MEGA and HB Today HALF MEGA who enter The Hogs Breath Cafe Challenge. Only participants who enter The Challenge will be timed.

All proceeds raised will again go to CanTeen and be put towards the wonderful activities and camps they provide for their members. In the last 3 years we have been supporting CanTeen with this event we have raised over $35,000! These funds have gone into the vital services that CanTeen offers young people living with cancer and their families
