MegaWalk Options

The MEGA Walk is designed to encourage all sections of the community to participate - from the athlete to the social walker - even the "couch potato" will be welcome!

The MEGA ( 28km Distance )

This event is for the more energetic participant. It can be run or walked and would be great training for those who compete in marathons as well as for the active social walker. Prizes will be awarded to the first and second man and woman registered in The Shoe Clinic Challenge.

The HALF MEGA (15km Distance )

Again the event can be run or walked and would be great training for a competition event as well as being an achievable distance for the social walker. Prizes will be awarded to the first and second man and woman registered in The Shoe Clinic Challenge.

The SHORT MEGA ( 6.5km Distance )

Designed for the social walker or runner. A great event for those wanting to get out for a Sunday stroll. Young children (under 7) are welcome to ride bikes under parental supervision.

The MEGA MEANDER (3.5km Distance)

A nice meander from Perfume Point designed for young and old of any fitness level. 

The Shoe Clinic Challenge
All entrants in The Shoe Clinic Challenge will be professionally timed and eligible for fantasic prizes for 1st and 2nd man and woman in The MEGA and HB Today Half MEGA.

CORPORATE TEAMS

Get together a team of workmates! The corporate or workplace team that has the most number of entrants in any one event will receive an awesome prize.

SCHOOL TEAMS

The school that has the most number of entrants in any one event will receive a $500 Mitre 10 Mega Voucher.

FANCY DRESS

Prizes will be awarded to the best individual fancy dress and to the best team fancy dress! So get your thinking caps on and get into the spirit of the day.
